Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Flagman & Fire Watch is responsible for directing vehicle and equipment movement, maintaining safe traffic flow within the worksite, monitoring hot work activities, identifying fire hazards, ensuring fire prevention measures are in place, maintaining fire extinguishing equipment, and responding promptly to emergency situations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with site safety regulations and assisting in maintaining a safe working environment.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Candidates should have relevant industrial or construction site experience. Applicants must possess both a valid Flagman ID and Fire Watch ID, along with a good understanding of workplace safety procedures, hazard recognition, and emergency response. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and safety awareness are essential.
