Work Permit Receiver (WPR) and Safety Officer are essential roles in industrial construction, power, and infrastructure projects. A SEC-approved Work Permit Receiver (WPR) ensures that all work activities are properly authorized and carried out in accordance with safety procedures before work begins. A SEC-approved Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and ensuring compliance with project regulations. MRC is urgently recruiting qualified candidates for both positions for a long-term project in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, offering immediate mobilization and company-provided facilities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for obtaining work permits, coordinating with supervisors and project authorities, verifying that all safety precautions are in place before work starts, and ensuring work is performed in accordance with SEC safety requirements. The Safety Officer conducts routine safety inspections, identifies workplace hazards, investigates incidents, organizes toolbox talks, monitors the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensures compliance with company and regulatory HSE standards. Both positions require close coordination with project teams to maintain safe and efficient operations throughout the project.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants should have relevant experience in industrial construction, power, or infrastructure projects. Candidates must hold SEC approval for the position they are applying for and possess a valid Ajeer registration along with other required employment documents. Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures, permit systems, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance is essential. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are also required. Candidates must be ready for immediate mobilization and submit all required documents, including their original passport.
