Description

Industrial and petrochemical projects in Saudi Arabia continue to create strong demand for skilled technical workers and experienced professionals, especially in large operational facilities such as Petro Rabigh. These projects require qualified manpower capable of maintaining high operational standards while ensuring safe and efficient project execution. The current vacancies include a wide range of technical and supervisory categories, offering opportunities for experienced candidates with ARAMCO and petrochemical plant backgrounds. Positions such as Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Supervisor, Pipe Fabricator, Pipe Fitter, Welder, Electrical Technician, Drivers, Painters, and Piping Foremen play an essential role in supporting industrial operations and maintenance activities across the project site.

These job roles are highly important because industrial plants rely heavily on skilled manpower to maintain productivity, prevent delays, and ensure safety compliance in challenging work environments. Companies involved in piping, structural fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and petrochemical operations require professionals who can perform under pressure while following strict industry regulations and standards. Workers with previous ARAMCO project experience are especially valued because they are already familiar with industrial procedures, permit systems, safety standards, and operational discipline commonly followed in Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will perform various responsibilities depending on their assigned categories. Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Supervisors will oversee piping and structural activities, coordinate project execution, and ensure work quality meets project standards. Piping Foremen will supervise field crews, manage piping installations, interpret isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams, and ensure smooth coordination between workers and management. Pipe Fabricators and Pipe Fitters will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and installing piping systems according to technical drawings and project specifications.

Welders must perform high-quality welding work while maintaining compliance with approved welding procedures and valid WQT certifications. Electrical Technicians will handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections within petrochemical facilities. Painters will apply industrial coatings according to ARAMCO painting standards while maintaining surface preparation quality. Bus Drivers and Light Drivers will safely transport workers, materials, and equipment within project areas while following site safety regulations. Every category requires strong teamwork, discipline, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in demanding industrial conditions.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants must possess relevant technical experience and practical knowledge related to their respective fields. Candidates applying for engineering and supervisory positions should have strong understanding of piping systems, structural works, industrial drawings, project coordination, and ARAMCO operational procedures. Fabricators, Pipe Fitters, and Welders must be capable of reading technical drawings, handling industrial tools, and performing accurate fieldwork according to project requirements. Welders are also required to hold valid WQT cards for 6G welding qualification.

Electrical Technicians should have experience working in petrochemical plants and knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance procedures. Painters must understand coating applications and industrial painting standards commonly used in ARAMCO facilities. Drivers should have experience operating within industrial plants while following site transportation and safety rules. Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety are essential for all categories.
