Primary Responsibilities

A Work Permit Receiver is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and implementing work permits before any task begins on the project site. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with permit issuers, ensuring all permit conditions are understood and followed by the work crew, verifying that work areas are safe, identifying potential hazards, and confirming that appropriate control measures are in place. The WPR also monitors ongoing work activities to ensure continuous compliance with ARAMCO permit-to-work procedures, maintains accurate documentation, reports unsafe conditions, and communicates effectively with supervisors, safety officers, and project management. By following established safety procedures, the Work Permit Receiver plays a critical role in protecting workers, equipment, and project operations.

Professional Skills and Knowledge

Applicants must hold a valid ARAMCO Approved Work Permit Receiver (WPR) qualification and possess practical experience working on industrial or oil & gas projects. AME Certification is mandatory for this position.
