Safety Officer – Vacancies: As Required

Safety Officers are among the most important professionals in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors, where maintaining a safe working environment is a top priority. They are responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and minimizing workplace risks. On live plant and brownfield projects, the role becomes even more critical because work is performed around existing operational facilities, requiring strict adherence to safety regulations and permit-to-work systems. EGT Contracting Company Ltd. is urgently recruiting ARAMCO Safety Officers with Live Plant and Brownfield experience for an industrial project in Saudi Arabia. Candidates who meet the project requirements and are available for immediate mobilization are encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities

An ARAMCO Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring daily work activities to ensure compliance with company safety policies, ARAMCO standards, and applicable government regulations. Daily duties include conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, delivering toolbox talks, investigating incidents, preparing safety reports, and maintaining HSE documentation. Safety Officers are also responsible for ensuring workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), monitoring permit-to-work compliance, coordinating emergency response procedures, and promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the project. For live plant and brownfield projects, Safety Officers must carefully assess risks associated with ongoing operations and ensure that construction and maintenance activities are carried out without compromising operational safety.

Professional Skills and Knowledge

Applicants should possess solid knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness. Previous experience on Live Plant and Brownfield projects is mandatory, as these environments require advanced safety awareness and practical decision-making skills. Candidates must have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities to coordinate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and project personnel. A valid Vendor Code, Chamber membership, and an Iqama with at least four months’ validity are essential requirements for this position. The ability to prepare professional safety reports, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with ARAMCO safety standards will be highly valued.
