Awad Batel Bin Awad (ARCE) is urgently recruiting experienced Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for a long-term industrial project in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The Work Permit Receiver is a critical safety professional responsible for ensuring that all work activities are performed under valid permits while complying with company procedures and industrial safety standards. This role is essential in construction, oil and gas, and industrial projects where permit-to-work systems are mandatory for maintaining a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities
The selected Work Permit Receiver will receive, review, and verify work permits before any activity begins on site. Daily responsibilities include inspecting work locations, ensuring all permit conditions are fulfilled, identifying workplace hazards, and coordinating with supervisors, safety officers, and work teams. The WPR will monitor ongoing activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, maintain accurate permit records, and immediately report unsafe conditions or safety violations. Active participation in toolbox meetings and continuous communication with project teams are also important parts of the role. The successful candidate must always promote a safe and productive working environment.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should have previous experience as a Work Permit Receiver on industrial, construction, or oil and gas projects. A strong understanding of permit-to-work systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, and industrial safety procedures is required.
