The Importance of These Site-Based Roles
Each position contributes to the safe and organized operation of an industrial facility. A Work Permit Receiver helps ensure work is properly authorized and carried out under approved permit conditions. Fire Watch personnel monitor hazardous work areas and remain alert to potential fire risks. AC Technicians support the operation and maintenance of air-conditioning systems, while Flagmen help control the safe movement of vehicles, machinery, and personnel around active work zones. Together, these roles help maintain productivity while supporting workplace safety.
Responsibilities and Working Environment
WPR personnel will coordinate work-permit activities and ensure crews understand and follow the conditions attached to approved permits. Fire Watch workers will monitor designated areas, particularly during activities that may create fire hazards, and respond according to site emergency procedures. AC Technicians will assist with inspection, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of air-conditioning equipment as required by the project.
Flagmen will guide vehicles and mobile equipment, communicate with drivers and operators, and help maintain safe traffic movement within the worksite. All selected workers will be expected to follow Hadeed and site safety procedures, cooperate with supervisors, and maintain professional conduct throughout the assignment.
