Saudi Arabia Jobs

Safety officer (20 Nos)

Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas industry continues to provide strong opportunities for experienced HSE professionals, particularly on major projects where strict safety procedures and operational standards are essential. Safety Officers with proven Aramco project experience remain in demand because they help companies maintain safe worksites while meeting demanding client requirements. Jazeera Al Arab General Contracting Est. has announced a very urgent requirement for 20 Aramco Safety Officers for assignments in Shaybah and Khurais. The positions offer a rate of SAR 28 per hour, company-provided food and accommodation, and an upcoming interview for qualified candidates.

The Importance of Safety Officers in Aramco Projects

A Safety Officer plays a central role in controlling workplace risks on large oil and gas projects. The position involves monitoring field activities, identifying hazards, enforcing approved safety procedures, and helping workers understand their responsibilities. On Aramco sites, experienced safety personnel are especially valuable because work must comply with strict safety systems, permit requirements, and client standards. A capable Safety Officer can help prevent incidents, improve workforce awareness, and support uninterrupted project operations.

Duties and Responsibilities on Site

Selected Safety Officers will monitor daily construction and industrial activities and ensure workers follow approved HSE procedures. Their responsibilities may include conducting workplace inspections, identifying unsafe acts and conditions, checking PPE compliance, participating in toolbox meetings, and communicating safety observations to supervisors and management. They may also support permit-related activities, emergency preparedness, incident reporting, and safety documentation. Because the assignments are connected with major Aramco projects, candidates should be comfortable working in demanding environments and responding professionally to safety concerns.

Experience, Approvals & Eligibility

This recruitment is specifically intended for experienced professionals. Candidates must have approximately 4–5 years of Aramco project experience along with the required approvals. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their previous project experience through relevant experience certificates and provide valid Aramco Approval documentation. The recruitment notice also requires Iqama, passport, Ajeer, and Chamber Agreement documents. Candidates should carefully check that their approvals and employment documents are valid before attending the interview.
