Work Permit Receiver – Very Limited Nos
A WPR (Work Permit Receiver) is responsible for managing and controlling work permits before and during potentially hazardous activities at an industrial project. The position requires a strong understanding of permit-to-work procedures, site safety requirements, and coordination between workers, supervisors, and the responsible safety team. For the current urgent requirement, ECOVOLT SOLUTIONS CO. LTD is looking for one experienced WPR with RABIQ approval and a running ID card for work at the Jeddah Rabigh site. This opportunity is particularly suitable for candidates who already have the required project approvals and can join according to the company’s mobilization requirements. The selected candidate will be expected to follow site procedures carefully and ensure that permitted work is carried out under the required safety conditions.
Primary Duties & Workplace Responsibilities
The WPR will be responsible for receiving, checking, maintaining, and closing work permits according to the applicable site procedures. Before work begins, the candidate should verify that the permit contains the correct information and that required safety precautions have been completed. The WPR may coordinate with supervisors and work crews to confirm that the work area is prepared and that the conditions mentioned in the permit are being maintained. During ongoing activities, the candidate should remain alert to changes in site conditions and immediately report unsafe situations or permit-related concerns to the responsible personnel. Proper communication with the work team is essential, particularly when dealing with hot work, confined areas, excavation, lifting activities, or other controlled operations. Maintaining permit records and following instructions from authorized site personnel are also important responsibilities.
Required Approval, Experience & Documentation
Candidates applying for this position must have WPR RABIQ approval with a running ID card, which is a mandatory requirement for the vacancy. In addition, applicants must have a valid Ajeer, Chamber, Iqama, and Muqeem. Previous experience working as a WPR on industrial or construction sites can be highly beneficial. The successful candidate should understand permit systems, workplace hazards, basic safety controls, and communication procedures. Attention to detail is important because even a small mistake in permit information or site conditions can create serious safety concerns. Candidates should be responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and capable of working professionally with supervisors and other site personnel.
