Job Role Overview & Importance
A Rigger 3 plays a critical role in ensuring safe lifting and movement of heavy equipment at industrial sites. In Aramco projects, rigging professionals are responsible for supporting crane operations, securing loads, and ensuring that all lifting activities follow strict safety procedures.
This role is essential for preventing accidents and ensuring smooth execution of construction and maintenance activities in high-risk environments such as oil and gas facilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing rigging equipment, inspecting slings and lifting tools, and assisting crane operators during lifting operations. They must ensure that all loads are properly secured and balanced before movement begins.
Riggers will also follow lifting plans, communicate with supervisors using standard signals, and ensure compliance with Aramco safety regulations. Reporting damaged equipment and unsafe conditions is also part of their responsibilities.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must be Aramco Approved Rigger 3 with relevant industrial experience. Prior work in oil and gas, construction, or petrochemical projects will be highly preferred.
Candidates must have valid Chamber registration and Vendor Code as required by the employer. Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding site conditions are essential.
