Fire Watch personnel monitor hot work activities such as welding and cutting to prevent fire hazards and ensure immediate response in case of risk. Main Responsibilities and Work Duties
Selected candidates will be responsible for performing safety and monitoring duties according to their assigned roles. Safety Officers will conduct regular inspections, identify hazards, enforce safety rules, and ensure compliance with site regulations. WPR staff will verify permits, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure all safety conditions are met before work starts. Fire Watch workers will continuously monitor hot work areas, ensure fire extinguishers are available, and respond immediately to any unsafe situations. All employees must maintain strict discipline, follow safety instructions, and ensure proper documentation during all site activities.
Required Skills, Experience and Work Conditions
Applicants must have relevant experience in industrial safety roles, preferably in construction or oil and gas environments. For Safety Officer and WPR positions, the iqama profession must be Supervisor as per requirement. Strong knowledge of safety procedures, hazard identification, and permit systems is required. Candidates should be physically fit, alert, and capable of working in demanding site conditions. Valid documents are mandatory, including passport, iqama, muqeem, body fitness certificate, insurance, CR copy, and passport-size photographs. Candidates must be responsible, disciplined, and able to handle site pressure effectively.
