Job Role Overview & Importance
A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for managing and controlling work permits before any industrial activity begins. In Ma’aden projects, this role is critical because it ensures that all high-risk tasks are properly authorized and safety requirements are fully met.
WPR professionals act as a key communication link between site workers, supervisors, and safety teams. Their responsibility directly impacts workplace safety, operational control, and compliance with industrial regulations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected WPR will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing work permits according to Ma’aden safety standards. Daily duties include coordinating with supervisors, checking documentation, and ensuring that all safety requirements are met before work execution.
They will also monitor ongoing activities, maintain permit records, and ensure compliance with safety procedures throughout the project duration. Proper documentation and reporting are essential parts of this role.
Since Ma’aden projects operate under strict industrial safety rules, the WPR must ensure full compliance at all times.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must be Ma’aden Approved WPR professionals with relevant experience in industrial or mining sector projects. Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems and safety regulations is required.
Candidates must possess valid Saudi documents including Chamber Certificate, Absher Iqama, Muqeem report, medical fitness certificate, and passport copy.
