Job Role Overview & Importance
Electrical and Mechanical Technicians are essential members of industrial maintenance and operations teams. Electrical Technicians are responsible for maintaining electrical systems, equipment, motors, control panels, and industrial power distribution networks. Their expertise ensures safe and uninterrupted plant operations.
Mechanical Technicians focus on the maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment used in industrial facilities. Their role is crucial in minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring efficient plant performance. In large-scale oil & gas and industrial projects, these professionals contribute directly to operational reliability and project success.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Electrical Technicians will perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, conduct equipment inspections, repair faults, and support installation activities according to project requirements. They will also assist in preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
Mechanical Technicians will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors, and industrial machinery. They will perform routine maintenance activities, identify equipment defects, and support commissioning and operational teams when required.
Both positions require strict adherence to industrial safety regulations, project procedures, and quality standards while working closely with supervisors and engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must possess a valid CWQAP Certificate, which is a mandatory requirement for these positions. Candidates should have relevant experience in industrial maintenance, oil & gas projects, petrochemical plants, or large-scale industrial facilities.
A valid Iqama, Muqeem with at least three months validity, passport copy, medical fitness certificate, insurance, and CR documents are required. Candidates should be technically competent, physically fit, and capable of working in demanding industrial environments.
Professionals with previous experience in Saudi industrial projects will be highly preferred during the selection process.
