Light Driver / Heavy Driver
Light Driver and Heavy Driver positions are key operational roles in transportation and logistics support within construction and industrial projects in Saudi Arabia. These roles are responsible for ensuring the safe movement of personnel, materials, and equipment between designated project locations. In fast-developing cities like Taif, such drivers are essential for maintaining smooth workflow operations and supporting site efficiency. The job requires responsible driving behavior, awareness of traffic regulations, and the ability to operate vehicles safely under varying road and project conditions. Candidates must demonstrate discipline, reliability, and commitment to long-term project requirements.
Main Duties and Work Responsibilities
Selected drivers will be responsible for operating assigned light or heavy vehicles based on their category and project requirements. Daily responsibilities include transporting workers, materials, and equipment safely to and from job sites while following assigned routes and schedules. Drivers must ensure proper vehicle maintenance checks before starting duty, including inspection of brakes, tires, fuel levels, and general safety condition. They are also required to maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure it is always in working condition. Any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents must be immediately reported to supervisors. Strict adherence to traffic laws and company safety policies is mandatory throughout the assignment.
Required Qualifications and Professional Skills
Applicants must have proven experience in driving light or heavy vehicles in industrial, construction, or similar environments. A valid Iqama with at least three months remaining validity is required for eligibility. Candidates should possess complete documentation, including passport, visa, Muqeem, and medical fitness reports, all in color copy format. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred. Strong discipline, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential for success in this role. Experience in Gulf-based projects will be considered an added advantage.
