An urgent opportunity is available for a Saudi Aramco Approved Work Permit Receiver (WPR) for industrial projects in Jizan and Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia. The WPR plays a critical role in ensuring that work activities are properly authorized and performed according to approved permit-to-work procedures. This position is particularly important in high-risk industrial environments, where strict coordination between operations, maintenance, safety, and project teams is required to prevent incidents and maintain safe working conditions. The project offers a 6-month duration with immediate mobilization and company-provided FAT.
Key Responsibilities and Professional Duties
The Work Permit Receiver will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and coordinating work permits before any assigned activity begins. Duties include verifying that worksite conditions meet permit requirements, confirming necessary safety precautions, coordinating with authorized personnel, monitoring ongoing work, and ensuring that permit conditions remain valid throughout the activity. The WPR will also participate in toolbox meetings, communicate hazards and precautions to work crews, maintain permit-related records, and immediately report unsafe conditions or changes in the work environment to the relevant supervisor or authority.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Candidates must have Saudi Aramco WPR Approval and relevant experience in industrial, oil and gas, or construction environments. Applicants should have strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems, workplace safety procedures, hazard identification, and site coordination.
