Job Responsibilities
Rigger II personnel are responsible for preparing, inspecting, and securing lifting equipment before every lifting operation. They work closely with crane operators and supervisors to ensure that loads are lifted, moved, and positioned safely according to approved lifting plans. Responsibilities include inspecting slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories, maintaining clear communication during lifting activities, identifying workplace hazards, and complying with all health and safety regulations. Successful candidates must perform their duties with accuracy, discipline, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Skills & Professional Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Rigger II and possess a valid TUV Rigger Certification. Candidates must have a valid Iqama, Muqeem report, GOSI, QIWA registration, passport copy or visa copy, and a valid Medical Fitness Certificate. Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, lifting techniques, hazard identification, and industrial safety procedures is essential. Good communication skills, teamwork, physical fitness, and the ability to work in demanding field environments are highly preferred.
