Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Block Masons are responsible for laying concrete blocks, bricks, and other masonry materials according to engineering drawings and project specifications. They ensure walls and structures are properly aligned, leveled, and finished while maintaining quality workmanship. Helpers assist skilled workers by carrying materials, preparing work areas, cleaning the site, loading and unloading equipment, and supporting daily construction activities. Scaffolders assemble, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures while ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards. All employees are expected to follow supervisor instructions, maintain productivity, use tools safely, and comply with company health and safety regulations throughout the project.
Essential Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants should have relevant experience in their respective trades, although Helpers with a strong willingness to work may also be considered. Block Masons should possess practical knowledge of masonry techniques, construction materials, and site measurements. Scaffolders should understand safe scaffolding practices and workplace safety requirements. Candidates must be physically fit, disciplined, and capable of working in a construction environment. All applicants are required to provide color copies of their Iqama, Insurance, Photograph, and GOSI.
