Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Safety Officers are responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with company procedures and client standards. Their daily responsibilities include conducting site safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, performing risk assessments, investigating incidents, preparing safety reports, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). They coordinate with supervisors and project management to enforce safety regulations, organize toolbox talks, monitor emergency preparedness, and immediately address unsafe conditions. Safety Officers also maintain safety documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture that minimizes workplace risks and supports efficient project execution.
Essential Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants must be Aramco Approved Safety Officers with a minimum of six years of relevant industrial experience. Strong knowledge of Aramco safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention is essential. Candidates should possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure in industrial environments. A valid Vendor ID or Ajeer is mandatory for this recruitment.
