A new employment opportunity is available for qualified Fire Watchers who are ready to join a long-term industrial project. Fire Watch personnel play an essential role in maintaining workplace safety by monitoring hot work activities and preventing fire-related incidents. This position is ideal for candidates who hold valid Aramco certification and are prepared for immediate mobilization. Applicants with previous experience on the Berri AAP – KGP Project will be given priority consideration during the selection process.

Job Description

A Fire Watcher is responsible for monitoring work areas where hot work activities such as welding, cutting, and grinding are being performed. The role focuses on identifying fire hazards, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and responding quickly to emergency situations if required. Fire Watchers help create a safer working environment by remaining alert to potential risks and ensuring that all fire prevention measures are properly implemented.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will monitor hot work operations, inspect surrounding work areas for fire hazards, and ensure that fire extinguishing equipment is readily available. Responsibilities include maintaining continuous observation during work activities, reporting unsafe conditions, supporting emergency response efforts, and ensuring compliance with project safety requirements. Fire Watchers are also expected to communicate effectively with supervisors and safety personnel regarding any identified hazards.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants must possess a valid Aramco Fire Watch certification and a strong understanding of workplace fire prevention procedures. Previous industrial project experience is highly beneficial, particularly experience on the Berri AAP – KGP Project. Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused during extended work periods. Knowledge of emergency response procedures and fire safety regulations will be considered an advantage.
